thrilled to Edward Palmer's renditions of Island-style old time
music. Now this warm feeling can be yours, thanks to Edward's new
CD. Recorded in the MSU sound studio in preparation for the House
Party record and book, this CD includes many of the songs that have
warmed hearts at special events such as New Year's, St. Patrick's,
and Homecoming, as well as weddings, anniversaries, and house parties.
So many people have left the Island with Edward's songs still ringing
in their ears that these tunes have become associated with Beaver
Island's wonderful mystique. Edward plays piano, harmonica, and
guitar on these 16 selections, and is backed by Island favorite
Rich Scripps on bass.
